Love how this breaks down winter boots by actual use-case rather than just style. The SOREL Caribou recommendation is great, those things genuinely last forever. I've had similar experince with boots where the removable liner makes all the difference when it comes to drying out after wet days. The Bunny Boot mention is interesting, I've seen those around but never pulled the trigger because of the weight, might reconsider for deep snow days tho.

I'll have to give an update on the Bunny Boot later this winter! The weight is significant—they make my foot feel like a pendulum—but I do like how they look, they're really comfy, & they seem quite protective. Fair warning: they have a rubbery smell when they arrive, so they do require some off-gassing.

Thanks- been on the search for a dog walking snow boot for ages! I ordered the fubuki ones but found them weird to walk in and had to return😢

I feel that! They need more structure for really walking, better for just hanging in one place. I think Sorel makes a lot of great dog walking boots! Grippy, warm, different style options. Also check out Merry People if you want a more all season option- they're like a cute rain boot but slightly warmer and work well in in slush!
